SYDNEY KERTZ
Sydney grew up in the great state of Texas. She was raised to love Jesus and the Dallas Cowboys. She began taking dance classes at age three and continued her training until her freshman year of college. She can still be caught dancing at any point of the day for no reason.
Sydney’s passion for teaching children began when she was thirteen years old. Her first job was as an assistant swim instructor for toddlers. Then she began teaching dance camps for kids, then babysitting, and eventually she became heavily involved in the children’s and youth ministry at her home church.
Sydney attended Concordia University Texas in Austin where she studied religious education and specialized in youth ministry. After graduating, she was placed on internship at theCross to lead the Children’s Ministry. She continues to educate herself on children and family ministry and has recently started a Master’s program.
