KELSY

Kelsy oversees all communications at theCross and is the Director of Facilities.

She is a Florida native from Tampa, FL, where she grew up in the local church and can’t remember a time in which church involvement was not part of her life.

After graduating from the University of South Florida, she moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, to work for a humanitarian aid organization for a year, but ended up staying seven more years to work for one of the largest churches in South Africa, Rhema Bible Church, as the Creative Director and the Service/Events Producer, producing services, events, and megachurch conferences.

It was there at Rhema that she met her husband of eleven years, Kharl (our worship director).

In 2014, they relocated back to the US, settled in central Florida, and have been attending theCross for the past eight years.

She is passionate about building the local church, and supporting the ministries of theCross through clear and unifying communication. Her hope for theCross Church is that people will see Jesus more clearly and that hearts will be irresistibly captured by the beauty of who He is and what He has done.
