Mark is married to Linda and together they have three amazing daughters: Amanda, Vanessa and Victoria. Linda is very involved with worship and has a heart to see the women of the church flourish.
Mark loves adventure and loves people. Having moved all the way from South Africa to the USA, Mark is thrilled to have ended up in beautiful Mount Dora. It was in South Africa that he served as a youth pastor for many years and completed three years of theological training and he is currently in the SMP Program through Concordia Seminary St. Louis.
Mark's heart for ministry, his gift for bringing The Word, and his passion for reaching the lost is what makes him such a solid man of God and an integral part of theCross family.
Jacob was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. He attended Concordia University Wisconsin (along with Pastor Zach!) and graduated in 2005. Jacob has a Master's degree in Biblical Leadership from Phoenix Seminary and is currently in the SMP Program through Concordia Seminary St. Louis.
Jacob married his beautiful wife, Amanda, in 2012. They have two amazing boys, Asher and Micah.
Jacob loves spending time with his family, especially playing with Asher and Micah and building LEGO sets with them. His other favorite pastimes include spending time with people (extrovert!), playing volleyball, card games and board games, cooking, and binge-watching shows on Netflix or Hulu.
Zach is a husband, father, speaker, author, and pastor of theCross Family. His life mission is to challenge people of all ages to become greater followers of Jesus.
Zach continues to seek new and innovative ways to share the Gospel with the world, from raising money to buy a recovery house by breaking a Guinness World Record for the Longest Speech Marathon to paying for the church logo to be tattooed on church members.
In 2017, Zach wrote the bestselling book Red Letter Challenge and together with his wife Allison, co-wrote Red Letter Challenge Kids. Since then, they have co-founded a ministry under the name Red Letter Challenge and continue to write books and speak about the importance of following Jesus.
